EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY

The newly constructed DHCI facility has:

• The center has new Olympus-180 scopes with NBI-narrow band imaging technology.
• The center has new Custom Ultrasonics scope cleaning machine.
• The center uses CO2 – carbon dioxide gas – for insufflation of colon during colonoscopy which gives less gas to the patient.
• The center uses EMR – electronic medical records – MD Reports for report generation and storage, nurse’s notes, etc.
• The center uses Dianon Pathology – a Labcorp Company – for pathology specimens and the report is transmitted to the EMR with color photographs of biopsy pictures.
• The center uses relaxation music throughout the facility for comfort and relaxation of patients.
